Corporate Governance and Risk Management

Our governance structure establishes clear oversight and accountability across the organization, while integrating risk management into strategic and operational decision-making.

How our governance and risk management structure works

We strengthen the integration of sustainability into our culture and decision-making through training for our Ambassadors. This training covers environmental, social, and governance topics related to our operations, including fuel efficiency, waste management, greenhouse gas emissions, safety, diversity and inclusion, human rights, ethical conduct, and compliance.

It also seeks to strengthen our Ambassadors’ understanding of their role in implementing our Corporate Sustainability Strategy, responsible business practices, and our sustainability goals.

Ethics and Compliance

We promote a culture of integrity and responsible conduct through clear ethical standards, compliance practices, and mechanisms that allow concerns or potential misconduct to be reported.

Code of Ethics

Establishes the principles and standards of conduct that guide our Ambassadors and our relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Compliance

Our governance and control framework supports compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry requirements, and internal policies across our operations.

Ethics Line

Our Ethics Line provides a confidential channel for reporting potential misconduct, ethical concerns, or noncompliance.

Training on the use of this reporting channel is provided annually for all Ambassadors.

Supply Chain Management

Our suppliers play an important role in the continuity and resilience of our operations. We seek to build responsible, long-term relationships while integrating environmental, social, and governance considerations into our procurement practices.

Responsible Supply Chain Management Model

To support this approach, we developed our Responsible Supply Chain Management Model, which integrates ESG criteria throughout supplier selection, assessment, monitoring, and development. Volaris reviews its purchasing practices towards suppliers to ensure alignment with its own Supplier Code of Conduct and to avoid potential conflicts with ESG requirements
